Aviagen to Share Livestock Sustainability Messages with Global Poultry Industry Colleagues at IPPE 2022

For nearly seven decades, global poultry farming company
Aviation® participated in the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, and this year looks forward to reuniting with customers and industry colleagues at this world renowned poultry industry event, taking place from January 25 to 27.

Located at booth B4225, Aviagen’s international team will engage with attendees on their theme and corporate value of “Breeding Sustainability”. This theme reflects the company’s ongoing goal to promote the environmental, social and economic pillars of sustainability. This goal is achieved through a breeding program that balances production efficiency and performance with the health and welfare of the birds, which benefits the world’s poultry producers, the members of the communities they serve and to the planet we all call home.

As the world’s largest trade fair for the poultry sector, IPPE represents an excellent opportunity for Aviagen to exchange ideas on the latest innovations in poultry farming. On January 26 at booth B3649, the following Aviagen experts will share their knowledge:

  • Dr. Sara Reichelt, Aviagen’s Director of Animal Welfare and Sustainability, will discuss the topic “There are no finish lines in poultry welfare”.
  • The director of Global Genetics, Dr. Santiago Avendaño, will present “The contribution of poultry farming to the environmental sustainability of the meat sector”.
  • Dr. Jose Bruzual, Senior Poultry Veterinarian, will discuss “Coccidiosis Vaccination Management in Broiler Chicken Farmers”.
